Oh god. What has become of me? It's the holidays and I'm stuck rolling around in my house trying to amuse myself.

But let's recap a bit. Coscon 2008 was my first Coscon, and aside from the National Day hoobla going on, it was quite fun. BUT I was so tired that day, I went home at like, 4pm and simply conked out.

The costume, is NOT done by me. Heck, it was all done by the tailor from the hat, the toy, to the shoes. I'm not all too happy about that. Because yeah, I never did anything. Except making and sticking the ghei red berries on my toy's plant sticking out from it's head. And the wig I got online. So I concentrated more on Maya's portrayal. But I think I look constipated in some photos. :/ It was just testing the tailor, and yeah, they did an awesome job. However, I don't plan to depend on the tailor to complete my whole costume for me again.
I actually like making/buy-modifying/sourcing stuff.

Then there was Natsu Matsuri. Summer japanese festival in a local Japanese primary school. I got to wear a yukata for the first time, and I swear, it's the hardest thing to breathe in next to my chest binder. It's like wearing a freaking corset and you have to walk like your feet were tied together. Haha! But I had fun anyway! Too bad there were no fireworks!

Next coming up is Matsuri at Vivocity this weekend. Hm...

I start work next week, and then the following week I'm off to Japan! BWAHA.

Of course, working = meeting crappy people. But I keep telling myself that it's all the sake of my cosplay funds.
And then I just smile like the sad idiot I am. 8D

XD because I'm open to new ideas. Sadly, I don't read a lot of manga and watch different anime which leads to my little knowledge of characters and potential cosplays.

If any of you think I suit a character, kindly leave the character's name and series and I'll consider new ideas! Thanks!

Cosfest is finally over >_> but because of this event I ended up slacking on my assignments. But I never regretted it! I'm really proud of my two new cosplays XDDD! I've recieved such nice comments, and I'll improve on them again when I get the chance!

These two months I'll be super busy with work and a new event is coming up as well D: Gawd.

It was a blast last weekend! Got to meet lots of people and new friends as well 8D

~DAY 1~

Got up at 9.30am. Zander was gonna pick me and my mom up at 12pm >_> and my mum is reeaaallllly slow in preparing thus the early morning. I was already prepared by 11am, so I just sat around and placed a fan in front of myself to prevent extreme sweating.

Love my blue contacts~! They're uber bright and clear 8D

Zander lent me his red Jackson guitar D: which was very shiny, and very heavy v_v;;; kinda bumped stuff into it accidentally, but no scratches, thankfully.

It was about 12.30pm when we reached there, so we ate Burger King for lunch. 8D Onion rings ftw.

When we got to the grounds, it was crowded as hell. Inside was quite bad too. Stored our luggage into the baggage counter thing (which was very good btw), because my mom has only two arms LOL
I'm glad she was there XD she was a big help to me and Zander.

Then there was Costrain. Which involves a loooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg line of cosplayers running around the place. I joined in at first, but the line got too long and became super obstructive to others v_v; It was a good idea though, I suppose. I just don't think photographers appreciated the "blockage" and scrambling.

XD I had tons of fun as Len. I went on high LOL! Which then involved into some epic poses and Caramelldansen.

~DAY 2~

Woke up at 9.30am again. I wasn't particularly excited, because I felt that I would F*** my cosplay up because of some costume detailing which were wrong, >_>;; and I thought I wouldn't look good in the costume. I was gonna do Ciel Phantomhive from Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler. And then there was makeup, I never practiced, guilty as charged. Ciel's makeup was different from my Len >_> and I experimented with eyeshadow.

God, when I was done with my makeup, I surprised myself man. LOL

Zander picked kirisaki up before dropping by our house XD talked alot of crap in the maxi cab.

Reached there at 12.30am to meet ~stjh-cosplay to help with her costume (which involved the costume sliding down alot and exposing her binder LOL) XD once again, my mom was a lifesaver. Stuck around in her chalet preparing until 2pm, then we headed to Cosfest which was a 10 minute walk.

Sweated like hell, but at least the weather was better on Sunday than Saturday. XDD

A lot of people trod on my waist-cape thing D: and I got jerked-stopped a lot because of that lmao.

There was another Costrain, which kinda annoyed me this time round because they hindered the photographers trying to take photos ._.

Ah well, at the end of the day Zander treated us to some sushi 8D and I finally got to take off my blazer, waist cape and hat.
